Trust HR Officer
Grade I (SCP 26 – 28) £23,866 – £25,463 pro rata
(Actual Salary £15,535)
28 hours per week, Term Time Only plus 5 Days
The Vision Academy Learning Trust is a group of one secondary and four primary schools with a common aim to inspire the imaginations of our students and to support them to develop in ways which stand them in good stead for their future lives and responsibilities as individuals, employees and citizens.
The Trustees are seeking to appoint a suitability qualified HR Officer, working 28 hours per week, term time plus 5 days basis. The post holder will primarily be based at Egglescliffe School but will be required to travel to and work from other schools within the Trust and will be line managed by the Finance Director reporting to the CEO.
We are looking for a highly motivated and suitably experienced individual to provide HR support to the CEO, Headteachers, Governors and Staff within the Trust. The successful candidate will have previous HR experience and have excellent interpersonal skills.
The main requirements of the post are outlined below:
Assist in the provision of advice to managers on employment matters
Monitoring, analysing and reporting on staff absence within the Trust
Manage and advise schools within the Trust on all aspects of the recruitment process
Provide support with staff training and development across the Trust
Other requirements as outlined in the job description
The successful candidate will have appropriate transferrable skills to respond with confidence and initiative, to a changing educational landscape. Please note that experience of working in a school is not a pre-requisite for this post.
