Actual Salary: £22,616 to £23,912

Hours of Work: 32 hours per week, term time only

Contract Type: Temporary (subject to funding and to meet the needs of students)

About the Role

We seek to appoint an outstanding member of staffwho can provide support to the learning and inclusion of a Year 5 deaf pupil with an Education, Health and Care Plan.  The post holder will be a flexible team member with excellent literacy, numeracy and communication skills with a calm, approachable manner and a passion to motivate pupils to succeed. They will be willing to undertake any additional CPD needed to support the pupil.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Confidently use BSL (Signature) at Level 2
  • Promote and support the inclusion of all pupils
  • Encourage the student to engage with, interact and work co-operatively with others
  • Friendly, calm and approachable
